Drawing with #27... Goya!

Goya’s artwork has it all: aesthetics, political commentary, irony and sarcasm, elegance, technical prowess. In short, Goya is the perfect artist for the next open drawing session!

During this 2:30 hour session, we will copy a few of his delightful sketches, enjoy his fresh approach to capture vivacious scenes and study the play of light and shadow in a composition using pen and ink, pencils, watercolor washes.

Materials: good quality drawing paper, such as Strathmore, Canson, Stonehenge Legion.

Brown or dark red ink (but you can also use black), a few watercolor brushes, #2 and #6 will do, nibs, graphite pencils (HB-B will be fine). You can also use dark brown colored pencils. Erasers and sharpener.

The session will be also recorded and sent to the partecipants.
