Drawing with... #24: Giacometti!
Wednesday, 10/05/2022 - 10/05/2022
6:00 PM - 8:30 PM EST
Number of Lessons: 1
This Drawing Session is dedicated to Umberto Giacometti, a genius of the line that constantly explored, or better challenged, the border between realism and abstraction.
In this 2:30 hour Drawing Session, we will copy a few of his mesmerizing portraits and figures, created with the use of the line, using ink, ballpoint pen, markers, practicing and studying his style, and developing our own technical fluidity and aesthetic in mark making. A great occasion to explore the many creative possibilities offered by lines.
Materials: a few sheet of drawing paper, graphite pencils, pen and ink, black or dark blue ink, a thin watercolor brush (#2 will do), thin black markers, ballpoint pen.
